1990  
The Vienna Boogie-Woogie Club "Cool & Crazy Boogie Legs" was founded in 1990 under the direction of  Kurt Bieller.

1991  
In 1991 they become a member of the Austrian Rock'n Roll Federation and they organized the first official "Austrian Boogie-Woogie Championship". Since this time "Cool & Crazy Boogie Legs" started to join other national and international Boogie-Woogie competitions.

1993  
In 1993 "Cool & Crazy Boogie Legs" left the Austrian Rock'n Roll Federation and get in contact with SWING. In 1993 they founded the first Austrian Lindy Hop show company "Cool & Crazy Jitterbugs" under the direction of Regina Förster & Kurt Bieller.

1994  
After one year of training the Lindy Hop they started to perform with the "Back to Harlem" Jitterbugshow (a travel to the Harlem of the 30s) with great success!

1995  
In 1995 "Cool & Crazy Jitterbug" organized the first Lindy Hop workshop together with Rob von Haaren from California / USA.

1996  
Now they perform about 7 years and they are well known doing the Lindy Hop in Vienna! Cool & Crazy Jitterbug dancers have been featured at dance, benefits, concerts, outdoor fairs and corporate functions. Some of the bands they have danced with include the Clark Uptown Swingster, Five in Love with Betty, The Jive Giants and so on.

   

1998  
With a fresh new company and host of exiciting new dance routines they started their next show "The Jiving Bubbles" in 1998. This show includes dances from the 20s to the 50s.

1999  
In 1999 they organized the hottest dance event for all Boogie-Woogie, Rock'n Roll and Swing fans at the Route 66 with DJ Swinging Joe and a dance performance by Cool & Crazy Jitterbugs

In cooperation with the dance school Kreuzenstein they held up a new Lindy Hop workshop for beginners with Regina Förster and Kurt Bieller.
  

   

2000

Organization and teaching at the 1. International Lindy Hop Workshop (June 2000) at the "Jazzfestival Vienna 2000" 

They choreographed a new dance performance "Across the Track". This show includes dances from the 20s to the 50s. Together with dance students (dancing school Schmid) they performed 35 shows at the "Swinging City Süd 2000"

In October 2000 they had a great celebration - 10th Year-Jubilee (club-foundation at 1990) at Parkhotel Schönbrunn. The new Swing show was shown "Swing Fever".

 

  

2001

Jeanny & Kurt are ordered to teach the Austrian Jury in Lindy Hop. They become member of the Austrian Jury Federation for Boogie Woogie and Lindy Hop competitions at the Austrian Rock'n Roll Federation. 

2002

Monika & Blassnig & Andreas Scherzer (Photo) reached the 1st Place at the Austrian Boogie Masters 2002 with "Welcome to the Jungle" (A Mixture - Rock'n Roll Acrobatic with Lindy Hop).

  

2003

With a fresh new company and host of exiciting new dance routines they started their next show "Back to the Fifties" . Do you know Teddy Boys, Elvis  and Petticoat - they show you the rockin' Fifities!

They organized great Summer-Swing-Workshops at the " Volksgarten Tanzcafe". It was the first time they do the "Swing Rueda" with good Lindy Hop friends all over Austria!
